We know we have supporters around the world, in every country, and we know of people for whom an FSF membership means a lot, but, for various reasons they currently can't afford to pay for an associate membership themselves. This sponsorship program is a way to ensure everyone has a chance to be represented as an FSF member, regardless of income.
