hereinafter "Image", which contains my likeness, for entry in the Free Software Foundation’s, hereinafter "FSF", FSF40 Photo Contest.

In granting Photographer permission to use an image containing my (or child's) likeness for submission in the FSF40 Photo Contest, I understand the following:

  1. In granting Photographer permission to submit an image containing my (or child's) likeness in the FSF’s FSF40 Photo contest, I grant FSF full rights to use the Image and any reproductions or adaptations of Image for fundraising, publicity, or other purposes to help achieve the FSF’s aims, as well as the right to edit, modify, crop, add, or subtract from Image at its discretion and without my approval. This may include, but is not limited to, the right to use Image in printed and online publicity, social media, press releases, and funding applications.
  2. That for the use of Image by the FSF, I will not receive financial compensation or payment of any kind from the FSF.
  3. Copyright for Image will be retained by FSF.
  4. This agreement shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, excluding that State’s choice-of-law principles. All claims relating to or arising out of this contract, or the breach thereof, whether sounding in contract, tort or otherwise, shall likewise be governed by the laws of the United States and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, excluding that State’s choice-of-law principles.
Person consenting to using their likeness
I hereby warrant that I am a legally competent adult. I state further that I have read the above authorization, release, and agreement, prior to its execution, and that I am fully familiar with the contents of it. This release shall be binding upon me. (If signing for someone under thirteen years old): I hereby warrant that I am a legally competent adult, and a parent or legally-appointed guardian of Child, and that I have every right to contract for Child in the above regard. I state further that I have read the above authorization, release, and agreement, prior to its execution, and that I am fully familiar with the contents of it. This release shall be binding upon Child and me.
